Ched signed a 2 year contract withe the blades. source front page of the sun.
1.) There's no contracts getting signed anywhere as yet. As Ched Evans people have said he's adjusting to life out of orison then releasing a video statement next week. Until then, everything's all speculation.

I don't think Sheffield United should take him back. It will affect the other players and also sponsors will cancel contracts with us. Blades will receive violent abuse everywhere they go and it will affect the players who have done nowt wrong. I don't feel sorry for Ched Evans but it is all his own fault, even if he didn't "rape" the girl, he should not have been there. I wanted him to come back but is it worth all the hassle and abuse.

If he had shown the some remorse or had had his conviction quashed, I would accept him back because even a heinous crime like he committed does not stop me thinking that every one who makes a mistake deserves a second chance after they have been punished. But think about the club. Will the sponsors put up with the bad publicity. Will the players around him be affected by the taunts and abuse at other grounds. And if you want him back ask yourself, how would you feel if it had been your sister, girlfriend, fiancée, wife, mother, aunt, friend, grandmother even, would you still want him back? If he didn't do it and has suffered a horrible miscarriage of the system, let's hope the courts agree quickly for everyone's sake.
And without him we are winning at last.
7.) I am not a blades fan but was interested to see the opinions. I have had to witness Lee Hughes scoring and celebrating after what he did as well as Joey Barton who if you read up on his offences is a disgusting individual. In my opinion Ched should be given a chance as he has served his sentence the same as the others

Let's just forget about brayford did great for us last season that's the past. Why don't we have a look at our old right back matty Lowton did a job 4 us last time would do the job again 4 us.

Agreed. Brayford was good but time to forget about him. I think young lad Alcock will do as well if not better anyway. Money will be far better spent on getting another good striker and sending Porter on loan somewhere. Anywhere. Please.
3.) Only signed a 4 year deal with Villa last year and plays regular, don't think that's going to happen any time soon.

Also, why can't we get Maguire back on season loan as he most likely won't get a game at hull and can still get first team experience?
5.) According to several reports Matt Lowton is out of favour at Villa and some clubs are looking to try and get him on loan. so its not out of the question.
6.) Alcock is very capable. Would be good to have Brayford back but from what iv seen, Alcock is the perfect replacement. I also think Alcock is too good to be sat on the bench anyway. Some cover is needed though.

Just been reading on sports yapper Harry Maguire is leaving. I don't believe this 1 bit has anyone heard anything.
1.) He isn't leaving.
2.) Wolves have just bid 1 million and that's on ssn if he wants to go ok but let's get some real money for him not on the cheap to this club again.
3.) Wolves have made a 1 million pound bid for him today though and he is yet to sign a new contract. Think it'll take more than that for him to go but he only has a year left so if he is unwilling to sign a new contract we may have to take that offer. Hopefully we don't though!
4.) Would rather keep him and let him go on a free next year. Surely keeping him will improve our chances of getting promoted massively which will be worth more than £1mill, he might then sign for us again in the champ next year when Wolves are back in league 1

A work mate is a celtic fan and on a facebook page he's on it said that Gary hooper is joining us. Hooper worked under Adkins at scunny. Would be a great signing if we got him.

Think we need to shed a few midfielders from our ranks now. We have 16 and you probably only need 10 max. Pick the best of the bunch and give em regular football instead of wasting away on the benchmax. Get a proper 1st team squad assembled instead of experimenting. We need to start picking up them points now
